Dharmadam Island is a beautiful beach, located 17 kms from Kannur.
The small 5-acre island covered with coconut palms and green bushes
is a beautiful sight from the beach. This conjunction of beach and
island can be reached from the Muzhappilangad beach by walking through
when the tide is low. This small 5 acre island is 15 kms away from
Mahe and 100 metres offshore from Muzhappilangad beach. The beach
is 100 metres away from the Dharmadam main land. To enter this privately
owned island, permission is required.
