Pauv Bhaji

Ingredients of Pauv Bhaji

Ingredients Quantity PreCooking Preperation
Tomatoes 4 medium sized Slice finely
Onions 4 medium sized Slice finely
Green peas 1/2 cup Boiled
Carrots 2 medium sized Make small pieces
Cabbage 1/2 medium sized Slice finely
Cauli flower 1/3 medium sized Pieced
Brinjal 1 small Slice finely
Potaotes 2 medium sized Make small pieces
Chillie powder 1 teaspoon  
Termeric powder 1/4 teaspoon  
Coriander powder 1 teaspoon  
Pauv Bhaji Masala 2 teaspoons  
Coriander leaves Small bunch Cleaned and chopped
Small buns 12 Slice from middle
Butter For toasting  
Salt To taste  
Oil For cooking  
Lemon 1  

Preparation of Pauv Bhaji

1. Heat oil and fry onions till golden, add the tomatoes and cook till for 3 more minutes at medium heat , keep aside.

2. Cook items 4 to 8 with little oil, water and salt, cook so that they could be mashed.

3. When the vegetables are cooked finely, add the cooked onions and tomatoes.

4. Add the items 9 to 11, mix well and cook for 3 more minutes.

5. Crush the vegetables with a hand mixer, but make sure that donot get too much mashed or become paste like.

6. Add the pauv bhaji masala, mix well, and cook for two more minutes.

7. Shift this mixture into a bowl, ganish with green peas, butter and coriander leaves.

8. Apply butter on buns, toast a little.

9. In the serving plate, serve the buns along with bhaji, chopped onion, dashed with lemon. (Serve hot)
