Aattipuzhakavu Bhagavathy Temple

This temple is situa~ at Karumaloor panchayat in Emakulam district on the Alwaye - North Paravoor route and the presiding deity is Bhadrakali. It was Pinaykamattathu Namb00diri who brought this "Shilakannadi" statue from Kodungaloor and is facing North, as per the temple epic. Pooja is done only once, and administers the text of Kuttalakattu Meykattu thantra. The specialty of this temple is that, there is only the main deity and no sub-deities.
