Anikadu Bhagavathy Temple
We can to this temple via two routes. Puliyanoor route from Kodungoor
of Kottayam-Kumaly road and via Kooraly-Manarkadu route. Temple situates
in Pallikkathode panchayath of Kottayam District. Main deity is Bhadrakali
and is believed of young age (Balabadra). The bimba is with mirror.
Temple is on a hill top facing east with three poojas daily. 'Manayathatty
Madom' does the 'thanthra'. Sub deities are Siva, Muruka, Ganapathy
and Sastha. There are a wide range of celebrations in this temple
starting from 'Kalamezhuthupattu' from Avittam to Aswathy of month
Meenam.
