Kallil Bhagavathy Temple

Kallil Bhagavathy Temple southeast 5 kms of perumbavoor and 4 kms south of kuruppanpady by canalside road. a 1500 years old shrine on the hill of rock. it is believed that the padmavathy devi was originally of a jain shrine.

This temple is one among the famous cave temples in Kerala. It is situated at Asamanoor Panchayat in Emakulam District enroute at Kuruppampady on the Perumbavoor - Kothamangalam route, deviated towards Kallil route on the Moovattupuzha road sector, and has a bus stop named Kallil stop. It is on a hillock with an extent of 24 acres.
