Peruvaram Mahadeva Temple parur 4 kilometers south of town. in the big round sreekovil Sivan facing east and Sree Parvathi facing west. 10 days festival. medam thiruvathira arattu. Navarathri, Mandala Pooja, Sivarathri, Ashtami are also celebrated.

This temple situates in Cherpu of Thrissur district. It is the only temple which is governed by both Travancore Devaswom Board and Cochin Devaswom Board. The presiding deity is 'Erattayappan' facing the west.
