Subramanya Temple at Pernna
Subramanya Temple at Pernna near MC road, western side 1 1/2 kms
south of Changanacherry town. The idol of Subramanya is 6 feet height
centuries old temple has some inscriptions in stone and it reveal
that it existed 1000 years back. The temple entrance proclamation
of the Maharaja of Travancore ( entrance of the down trodden to the
Temple in 1936), first introduced in this temple by Mannathu Padmanabhan,
the social reformer. Festival in Vrichikom Karthika. Thypooyam is
celebrated with great pomp.
