Sukapuram Dakshinamoorthy Temple consecreated by 'Suka Brahmarshi'. one kilometer east of Edappal on Palghat route. One of the thirty two villages established by Parasurama. Once upon a time the village was the abode of Brahmin Scholars. Festival in January caparisoned elephants and percussion are famous.
