Fruit Trifle

ingredients quantity
for fatless sponge  
flour 90 gm
grain sugar 90 gm
eggs 3
filling `  
oranges 2
chickoos 2
apples 2
bananas 2
dried apricots 100 gm
Preparation  
Fresh cream 200 gm
grain sugar for syrup 100 gm
jam 30 gm
brandy 50 ml
cherries a few
castor sugar 1 tsp

Preparation of Fruit Trifle

1. Make a fatless sponge by whipping grain sugar,eggs and flour .

2. Cut the sponge cake in to half, sandwich with jam and cut in to cubes .

3. Peel the fruits and dice .

4. Arrange the sponge cake cubes in an oval dish and soak in the thin sugar syrup brandy .

5. Arrange all the fruits in layers over the cake .

6. Whip cream and sugar . Add flavouring and pile on top .

7. Decorate with cherries on top .
