1. Roast asafoetida ,cumin , peppercorns ,garlic , onion and coriander
.Crush . 2. Soak tamarind in a little hot water .Squeeze and mix in
the water . Add crushed ingredients and tomatoes ,if desired .3. Add
salt to taste and simmer for 10 minutes .Strain . 4. Heat oil in another
pan.Add sliced onion ,curry leaves and whole red chilly .Fry for a
minute or two .5. Add pepper water .Bring to boil and remove .
