ingredients quantity
whole moong 100 gm
weight after sprouting 240 gm
time for sprouting 48 hours

Method

Clean and wash moong .Soak in enough water to cover moong .Keep for 24 hours . Tie in a muslin cloth and hang for a further 24 hours .Open and use as required .If longer sprouts are required spread on a towel ,sprinkle with water and leave till the sprouts grow .

N.B. Sprouting increases Vitamin C content by approx 20 percentage . Steam and cook quickly for use .
