1.. Shell prawns .Remove intestines ,wash thoroughly several times
in cold water .2. Roast or dry heat red chillies ,coriander and turmeric
. 3. Powder fine and grind to a smooth paste with onion ,garlic and
pepper .4. Chop ginger into fine pieces .5. Soak cocum in water .6.
Slice coconut into slice thin quarter inch pieces .7. In a stainless
steel pan put in the curry leaves and half the cocoum. 8.Mix together
the ground paste ,ginger,salt ,remaining cocum ,coconut and prawns
.9. Put in the stainless steel pan. Pour water to be in level with
rest of ingredients .10. Put on fire and bring to boil quickly .Reduce
fire and simmer till prawns are cooked .11. Test for salt .Pour fresh
coconut oil on top and remove from fire .12. Cool and cover .This
can be kept for 2 days .
