ingredients for 4
pomfret or any other small fish like herring 500 gm
butter 15 gm
lime 1
pepper a pinch
salt to taste

Method

1. Wash and clean the fish keeping it whole . Wash again .2. make gashes on the fish . Season and smear with lime juice .Keep aside for some time . 3. Heat the grill . Grill on both sides basting with melted butter . 4. When browned on bothsides , reduce heat and let the fish cook for 5 to 15 minutes. Serve hot .
