1. Cream butter and sugar well .2. Add egg yolk and beat. 3. Sieve
flour and baking powder .4. Beat egg white stiffly and add flour and
white alternately .5. Fold in ginger powder .6. Grease pudding mould
,pour in mixture and cover with greaseproof paper. 7. Steam for 1
1/2 hours.8. Serve hot with custard sauce or jam sauce.
