Ginger Pudding

ingredients for 4
refined flour 155 gm
eggs 1
butter 55 gm
sugar 55 gm
dry ginger powder 1 tsp
baking powder 1/2 tsp
milk to mix

Method

1. Cream butter and sugar well .2. Add egg yolk and beat. 3. Sieve flour and baking powder .4. Beat egg white stiffly and add flour and white alternately .5. Fold in ginger powder .6. Grease pudding mould ,pour in mixture and cover with greaseproof paper. 7. Steam for 1 1/2 hours.8. Serve hot with custard sauce or jam sauce.
