1. Heat milk and butter together and pour over bread .2. Add half
the sugar ,egg yolks and grated lime rind. Mix well and allow to stand
for half an hour .3. Pour in to a greased pie dish and bake till quite
firm .4. Heat jam and spread over the pudding .5. Beat egg whites
stiffly . Fold in sugar and pile on pudding .6. Bake in a slow oven
for about 15 minutes till meringue is set and pale brown in colour
