Rice Pudding

Rice Pudding

ingredients for 4
milk 600 ml
sugar 60 gm
vanilla essence a few drops
rice 45 gm
butter 15 gm
grated nutmeg a pinch

Method

1. Wash the rice ;place in a pie dish .2. Add sugar and milk . Mix well .3. Add butter ,essence and nutmeg.4.Place on a baking sheet; clean the rim of the pie dish .5. Bake in a moderate oven until the milk starts simmering .6. Reduce heat and allow the pudding to cook slowly for about 1 1/2 hours .
