1. Wash chicken ,place in large kettle and cover with cold water
. 2. Simmer chicken until tender . Cool ,remove chicken ,and reserve
broth . 3. Cut chicken in to 1.25 -1.75 cm pieces .4. Melt butter
,add flour and blend well .5. Gradually add milk and chicken broth
,stirring constantly with a wire whip.6. Add salt ,pepper and nutmeg
.7. Cook until sauce is of medium thickness,and flour is throughly
cooked . 8. Add chicken and mushrooms tosauce ,and bring mixture to
a simmering point .9. In the meantime ,cook noodles in boiling salted
water until almost tender . Drain .10. Stir cooked noodles into chicken
mixture .11.Toss bread cubes in melted butter . 12. Place approximately
160 gm chicken noodle mixture in each individual greased casserole.
13. Top with buttered bread cubes .14. Bake in a 175 C oven until
sauce is bubbly and bread cubes are golden brown .
