Cornish Pasties

ingredients for 4
refined flour 170 gm
butter or margarine 85 gm
salt a pinch
baking powder 1/4 tsp
cold water to mix  

Method

1. Sieve flour with baking powder and salt .2. Rub in the butter or margarine to breadcrumb consistency. 3. Add sufficient water to make a dough that is neither too dry nor wet .4. Roll out and cut into rounds about 10 cm in diameter . Fill with prepared filling .5. Fold them over to make half a circle and press the edges firmly and flute them . 6. Brush them over with a little milk . Bake at 220 C for about 15 minutes .
