Summer Stew

ingredients for 4
middle neck of lamp 500 gm
turnips 115 gm
carrots 225 gm
new potatoes 450 gm
green peas 450 gm
onions 115 gm
salt to taste
pepper to taste
mint 1/2 bunch

Method

1. Wash lamb and cut into pieces .2. Peel and slice onions .3. Scrape and cut turnips and carrots .4. peel potatoes ,shell peas and chop mint . 5. Put the meat ,onions and seasoning in a pan . Add sufficient water to cover the meat . Simmer for one hour .6. Add vegetables ,potatoes and mint and cook till vegetables and meat are tender .7. Remove from fire and serve hot.
