Almond Sauce

Almond Sauce (300 ML)

Serve with steamed puddings

ingredients quantity
milk 300 ml
castor sugar 30 gm
cornflour 15 gm
almond essence a few drops
almonds 15 gm

Method

1. Dilute the cornflour with a little cold milk . 2. Boil remaining milk .3 Whisk into the cornflour .4. Return to pan and stir till it starts boiling . 5. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes .6. Mix in sugar and essence .7. Pass through a strainer . 8. Add slices of almonds and serve .
