Bordelaise Sauce

Bordelaise Sauce

serve with fried or grilled steak ,grilled meat $sautes

ingredients quantity
espagnole sauce 300 ml
shallot or small red onion 1
parsley (chopped ) 1 tsp
meat glaze 1 tsp
claret 75 ml
salt to taste

Method

1. Cook shallot in a claret or in a little stock .2. Add espagnole and meat glaze .3. Boil for 5 minutes .4. Strain through tammy cloth . Add parsley ,salt and reheat .
