Custard Sauce

Custard Sauce

Serve with fruit ,steamed or backed puddings .

ingredients quantity
milk 300 ml
castor sauce 30 gm
egg yolk 2
vanilla essence 2-3 drops

Method

1. Mix egg yolks,sugar and essence in a basin .2. Whisk in boiled milk . 3. return to a thick -bottomed pan .4. Place on low heat and stir witha wooden spoon till it coats the back of the spoon . Do not boil .5. Pass through a fine strainer.
