1. Wash and soak gram i water for 8 to 10 hours .2. Add salt ,finely
chopped green chillies ,onions and soda . Set aside for half an hour
.4. Beat well to enclose air .5. Make mixture into round flat cakes
in the palm of wet hands . 6. Make a hole in the centre and deep fry
in hot oil till golden hands .6. Make a hole in the centre and deep
fr in hot water immediately after removing from the oil. 8. Squeeze
out the water gently by pressing vadas between the palm of both hands.9.
Put in to beaten curds flavoured with chilli powder and cumin powder
. 10. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves . Serve withor
without tamarind chutney . Weight per portion :20 gm
