Gantai (Plain)

ingredients quantity
bengal gram  
flour 1 kg
oil to mix 60 ml
salt 1 tsp
water 445 ml
oil to fry  

Method

1. Sift gram flour . Rub in oil .2.Add salt and water to make a stiff dough .3. Press through sev moulds into hot fat . 4. When crisp and golden brown ,remove and drain .5. Tin and use as required .
