ingredients quantity(20)
rice 225 gm
split black gram 115 gm
fenugreek 1/4 tsp
salt to taste

Method

1. Wash and soak rice for about 30 minutes . Strain and dry .2. Grind coarsely in the grinder .3. Soak gram for one hour and grind with fenugreek till it si light and frothy .4. Mix ground rice and ground gram and a little water and keep it overnight .5. Add a pinch of salt and steam in idli steamer. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
