1. Mix together buttermilk ,gram flour and water .2. Grind chillies
and ginger to a paste .3. Mix all ingredients into a smooth solution
and cook till water is almost absorbed and a soft dough consistency
is obtained .4. Grease plates with fat and spread mixture as thinly
as possible while still hot . 5. Cut into 5 cm strips . Grease finger
and roll up each strip. 6. Heat fat . Add whole red chilli ,mustard
seeds and asafoetida . As seeds crackle ,pour over prepared khandvi
.7. Garnish with grated coconut and chopped coriander leaves .
