1. Clean and cut tomatoes . Chop onions ,carrots and turnip .2. Cover
with stock or water . Add seasoning and cook till all vegetabls are
tender .3. Put through a sieve to make a puree.4. Prepare white sauce
with milk ,flour and butter . Cool .5. Add puree gradually to the
sauce .6. Reheat ,add more seasoning if required and serve hot with
fried croutons or chopped parsley .
