Vegetable Stock

ingredients quantity
carrots 500 gm
onions 500 gm
turnip 250 gm
parsley 2 sprigs
butter 30 gms
peppercorns 3 to 4
water 1 litre
tomato puree 1 tspn
or  
celery a few pcs
salt  

Method

1. Peel and dice or chop vegetables .2. Saute in butter .3. Add peppercorns and tomato puree or celery finely chopped and salt .4. Bring to boil .5. Cover pan and simmer for 2 hours or until the stock has developed a good flavour.
