1. Put sugar into a pan . Add a little water and boil till the syrup
gets to the soft ball stage .2. Add flour by sprinkling over the syrup
, little by little ,and mix throughly to prevent lumping .3. When
well-mixed start adding hot fat slowly at intervals .4. When the mass
moves round and does not adhere to the vessel remove the vessel from
the fire . 5. Transfer to a greased plate and cut into desired while
still hot .
