Alu Methi

INGREDIENTS QUANTITY
potatoes 500gm
onions 120gm
fat 50gm
fenugreek leaves a small pinch
turmeric 1/4 tsp
tomatoes 115gm
curds 50ml
garlic 2-4flakes
salt to taste

Method

1.Wash ,peel and quarter potatoes and place in cold water .2. Heat fat. Brown chopped onions slightly . Clean and chop fenugreek leaves . 3. Add turmeric and fenugreek leaves and continue frying . 4. Add curds , chopped garlic ,potatoes , salt and sufficient water to cook potatoes .5. Add finely chopped tomatoes and cook for a few minutes longer.
