1.Peel and cut potatoes into thin pieces 3.75 cm . (1 1/2'')long,
2. Wash thoroughly . Drain and add salt and tamarind pulp. 3. Heat
oil. Add slightly crushed garlic and when golden brown add broken
red chillies . 4. Stir well . Then add the potatoes and keep on a
low fire . 5. Sprinkle water and let potatoes cook well . 6. Remove
when dry .
