Batata Thilsane

ingredients for 4 for 100
potatoes 225 gm 5.6 kg
Red chillies 4 85 gm
coconut oil 15 ml 340 ml
garlic 8 cloves 30 gm
tamarind 5 gm 115 gm
salt to taste 10 gm

Method

1.Peel and cut potatoes into thin pieces 3.75 cm . (1 1/2'')long, 2. Wash thoroughly . Drain and add salt and tamarind pulp. 3. Heat oil. Add slightly crushed garlic and when golden brown add broken red chillies . 4. Stir well . Then add the potatoes and keep on a low fire . 5. Sprinkle water and let potatoes cook well . 6. Remove when dry .
