Boondi Raita

ingredients for 4 for 100
batter    
bengal gram flour 55 gm 1.36 kg
chilli powder 1 tsp 75 gm
cumin powder a pinch 15 gm
fat to fry 3o gm 750 gm
raita    
curds 225 gm 5.6 kg
crushed cumin or ground mustard 1 pinch 10 gm
coriander leaves 1/4 bunch 1 bunch
salt to taste 100 gm

Method

1. Make a thick batter with ground flour ,water and spices . 2. Heat fat. Pour batter into it through a perforated spoon to make boondis ;fry till crisp . Remove and drain . Dip boondies in hot water and take out immediately . When cold , put in to beaten curds to which cumin , salt and chopped coriander leaves have been added .
