Chembu Curry

Chembu Curry

ingredients for 8
Colocasia 500 gm
cocum 5 gm
coconut 1/2
turmeric 1 tsp
Green chillies or kanthari 10 gm
garlic 3 flakes
red onions 1
curry leaves 30 ml
coconut 2 spring
salt to taste

Method

1. Peel colocasia .Wash well . 2. Put into cold water and bring to boil . Drain. 3. Add salt ,washed cocum and just enough water to cook colocasia .4. Grind together to a fine paste coconut ,green chillies ,turmeric ,garlic and onion . 5 . When colo casia is cooked and moisture nearly dry ,add ground ingredients .Mix well with the handle of a wooden spoon and stir over fire for about 2 minutes . 6 . Add curry leaves and fresh coconut oil. Remove from fire .
